Location and compass data
If you choose to use the "Use phone's location & heading" feature, the app reads your GPS latitude and compass heading to calculate the Coriolis effect on long-range shots. This data is used entirely on your device to run the calculation and is never transmitted anywhere, stored on any server, or shared with any third party. It's not linked to your identity and isn't used for tracking of any kind.
Barometric pressure and altitude
If you use "Use phone for altitude & pressure," the app reads your device's GPS altitude and built-in barometric sensor to improve the accuracy of atmospheric calculations. As with location data, this stays on your device and is never transmitted.
Network access
The app can optionally download an open-source bullet reference database from a public GitHub-hosted dataset, to expand the built-in library of bullets you can select from. This is a one-way download — no personal data, device identifiers, or usage information is sent as part of that request.
What the app stores
Your rifle profiles, calculation settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device only, using standard iOS storage. None of this data leaves your device, and there is no user account, login, or cloud sync of any kind.
Third parties
This app contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking software, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
Children's privacy
This app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
